What you will learn
Demonstrate through-to-face conversation understanding of simple questions and answers in standard English.
Participate in simple conversations dealing with basic survival needs
Predict meanings of unfamiliar words in familiar contexts using context clues.
Generate simple sentences containing learned vocabulary and using appropriate grammatical structures.
Get familiar with native speaker dialogues in their everyday life
Engage in daily conversations about different topics
Be able to learn and use chunks, collocations, phrasal verbs( up to 120 words) in real conversations
Assessment
Assessment is continuous throughout the course via classroom assignments & feedback sessions, learners are formally tested with Explorer achievement test at the end of the course.
Course Completion requirements
Students must have at least 80% attendance (10 roll calls out of 12) to get certificate.
Students must successfully complete the following online practices:
Vocabulary [up to 200 words].
Students must take periodic assessments for speaking and listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary using the online platform. Feedback from the teacher will be given in the face-to-face sessions.
Students must take the Explorer Achievement Test by the end of the course.
